Lauren Bacall at Disneyland

Lauren Bacall (Born: September 16, 1924 ), the award-winning star of stage and screen who rose to fame in the film noir dramas of the 1940s was reportedly one of the femme fatales from Hollywood’s golden age who inspired the creative team behind “Who Framed Roger Rabbit” in their design of Jessica Rabbit.

Ms. Bacall visited Disneyland park in the summer of 1963 with her husband, actor Jason Robards, pictured here at Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride.

Twenty-six years later, Ms. Bacall was on-hand for the opening festivities of Disney’s Hollywood Studios (known then as Disney-MGM Studios), where she placed her handprints in cement in the courtyard outside The Great Movie Ride.

James Garner at Disney California Adventure

James Garner (Born: April 7, 1928)

In September 2004 he appeared with the cast of the show '8 Simple Rules' at an event at Disney California Adventure park called ABC Primetime Preview Weekend.

During this event, Disney gave Mr. Garner a copy of a photo they had in their archives of him with his wife, Lois, celebrating their daughter Gigi’s birthday at Disneyland in 1965. It is believed that the photo was taken at the Tahitian Terrace.

When he saw this photo backstage before a media appearance, Mr. Garner said, “Oh my, it’s my Gigi! Oh, I can’t wait to show this to Lois!” He had never seen the photo before, and he thanked Disney warmly before excitedly gathering the cast around him to see the picture.

Nat King Cole at Disneyland

Pictured with his son, Nat Kelly Cole, the legendary voice behind such timeless hits as “Mona Lisa,” “Stardust,” and “Unforgettable” was photographed in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle in June of 1963.

Jerry Lewis at Disneyland

Jerry Lewis (Born: March 16, 1926) made a visit to Disneyland in August 1955, just a few weeks after Disney first opened their gates.

Television star Milton Berle, aka “Uncle Miltie,” joined Jerry outside the Main Entrance, along with future Disney Legend, Tom Nabbe, who was holding a custom edition of The Disneyland News with a headline that read, “Welcome Miltie & Jerry To Disneyland.”

Then it was over to Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride, where Jerry was joined by his son (and future musician), Gary Lewis.

Jerry Lewis: American comedian, actor, singer, film producer, screenwriter and film director. He is known for his slapstick humor in film, television, stage and radio.

Katy Perry took a break from her tour to join friends at Walt Disney World during the Fourth of July holiday weekend.

John Rhys-Davies at Disneyland Resort

John Rhys-Davies, who portrayed Indy’s friend, Sallah, visited the Disneyland Resort on June 2014.

John told Disney that despite his appearance inside the queue of the attraction for nearly 20 years, this would actually be the very first time he would ride it and that he was thrilled to be able to bring along his eight-year-old daughter, Maia (pictured here with a family friend) for her very first Disneyland visit. “The best way to see Disneyland, actually, is with children and through a child’s eyes,” John said. “It’s a joy to come here with my daughter, who’s come all the way from New Zealand.”

After riding the attraction twice, John said, “It’s really wonderful, isn’t it? It’s a great rollicking adventure. It’s just the right side of scary.” Maia added, “It was absolutely petrifying! I quite liked the boulder where it drops down. Oh, and the snake!”
